#DesignDetails: The Royal Gender Reveal/Baby Shower

Recently, CYE was given the opportunity to design a Royal Gender Reveal/Baby Shower. Let's just say the outcome was one for the books with the teamwork and dedication of our "friendors." The team here at Completely Yours Events would like to extend a special THANK YOU to Basket Treats by Alexis Streets, Royalty Flowers, Select Event Group, and Showtime Events

On a picturesque July morning CYE's Lead Designer, Christina Grimes, arrived to the Westchester Pavilion Event Room and the Grandmother-To-Be was already hard at work. Lace parasols with hanging crystals details lined the entrance and welcome signs with Snapchat Hashtags were already awaiting the team. It was no doubt in Christina's mind this was going to be the most talked about and remembered Baby Shower of the year!

What can we say? We LOVE crystal details!

As guest began to arrive, they were immediately greeted with a sparkling gold backdrop for photo ops with the Mom-To-Be with life-size baby blocks spelling out "Baby Taylor." Family and friends of the Taylor's wasted no time capturing the experience often pausing at the Grand Dessert Display in both awe and hungry. The all white lounge area with crystal chandelier stands made the room left elegant while providing guests with a comfortable space to take in the view. The guest of the hour, Momma Taylor was greeted with a royal throne of her own right beside the gold sequin bench that was quickly filled with loving gifts. This chair became a photo op for most of the guests over time as the Momma Bear made her rounds. In dining area featured more sparkling gold linens with tulle wrapped chiavari chairs and custom "A.B.C.D" baby blocks floral arrangements. To make it more personal, pictures of the Taylors as children were scattered around the space.

What did Lead Designer, Christina Grimes, have to say after the event was over? "My mission was to make this event as grand as our client and I believe we accomplished that!"
